dc.description.abstract | President Pugsley presided. Mr. John Boland reported on the Constitution and Bylaws committee and amended that the Secretary of the Senate serve as the Secretary of the Faculty.Dr. Irwin Cohen reports on the Senate Council focusing on the election and the committee structure and assignments for next year. Dr. David Behen reported on the Academic Affairs Committee. Dr. Thelma Miner reported on the Curriculum Committee and the approval for the new Technical and Community College programs. Dr. Hankey gave a report for the Faculty Affairs Committee and suggested that reduced speed limits along Byrson Street and Lincoln Avenue be enforced. President Pugsley announced that the flag was flown at half-mast for the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King and a service will be held at the Newman Chapel. | |
