dc.description.abstract President Pugsley presided. Mr. Kramer is filling in for Mr. Gus Mavrigian who is taking a leave of absence for one year. Mr. Edward T. Reilly reported on the Senate Council. Miss Margaret Pfau reported on the Ad Committee on Phi Kappa Phi. A Curriculum Committee for the College of Arts and Sciences and an Ad Hoc Curriculum Study Committee have been appointed. Mr. Clyde Hankey reported on the Faculty Affairs Committee in regards to Tax-deferred annuities. The University is in discussion with labor organizations for the Custodial workers and Carpenters. President Pugsley met with the NAACP and the Mayors Committee on Civil Rights to discuss if there were instances of discrimination on campus. Pugsley explained the need to review the courses being taught at Ursuline and Villa Maria Convents. The rest of the time was devoted to questions and answers.
