dc.description.abstract	Tom Shipka, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. The Ohio Faculty Council discussed the agreement by Ohio public university presidents on a resolution regarding student due process rights. An allegation of professional misconduct has been received by the Professional Conduct Committee. Elections and Balloting Committee reported ballots for Chair are due Friday with counting of ballots to take place Monday. Academic Standards provided an informational report. The General Education Committee reported it will soon begin considering a topic and book for next year's Freshman Readers Dialog. In New Business, Provost Robert Herber reported on the Labor-Management Panel.
