Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of February 06, 1970

Abstract

President Pugsley presided. Tenure considerations and regulations are discussed. The Constitution and Bylaws reported on proposed amendments being sent to the Senate membership prior to the meeting to be considered. The Executive Committee of the Senate announced appointments, permitted to allow a Jambar reporter into Senate meetings, and student access to Senate minutes in the library. The Faculty Advisory Committee reported on fee waivers. The University Research Council reported on grant funds and requests for research grants. The Advisory Committee for Radio Broadcasting Station reported on programming and policies. The Committee on Student Development reported after being inactive for over a year. The Ad Hoc Committee of Phi Kappa Phi asked to be dissolved because further steps toward establishing a chapter of Phi Kappa Phi will be conducted by the charter members of the YSU chapter.
