dc.description.abstract	President Jones was the presiding officer of the senate meeting. Topic discussed were the calendar for summer classes, recommendations from the Fire Inspector including no smoking in buildings and the practice of a fire drill across campus once a month, the adoption of the ACT testing system as opposed to the ACE system for all scholarship applicants and freshmen, the cancellation of the January meeting, and the next meeting set for the first Friday in February.	en_US
