dc.description.abstract	President Jones began the meeting by explaining the location of the new Student Union Building, and the announcement of the approval from the Board of Directors of the Honorary Degree Candidates (Mr. Bowman, President of Kent State University and speaker at commencement,Mr. White, Chairman of the Board of Republic Steel; Mr. Mauthe, Chairman of the Board of Youngstown Sheet & Tube, and Judge Ford). Dr. Smith reported on the American College Testing program, and the result of the voting on the Constitutional Amendment. The Amendments were declared adopted. Mr. Ives, the Chairman of the Rules and By-Laws Committee, submitted more amendments to be under consideration by the senate. The rest of the Bylaws report will be taken up at the next meeting.	en_US
