dc.description.abstract	The meeting was presided over by the Senate Chairman. The first order of business was the Executive and Standing Committees of the Senate. Topics mentioned were nomination committees, dean eligibility, and absentee votes. President Jones then announced the names for the Honorary Degrees for the next commencement ceremonies. It was voted that Senate meetings be held on the first Friday of the month. Willard Webster gave an athletic program report. The topics included were rental fees, the curtailing of sports due to expenses, Statement of Eligibility which every candidate for athletic teams must sign, and the drop out of the NAIA.
