dc.description.abstract	Chairman of the Senate, Dr. Jean Kelty, presided. A resolution was passed in memory of Dr. Pugsley. The Executive Committee reported on appointments to fill vacancies and an Ad Hoc Committee to examine the procedure which the Senate Executives assign faculty members to committees. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported on former members who resigned or retired and the new members to replace them. The Computer Committee reported on the breakdown of computer hours and a response to Dr. Edgar. The Honors Committee reported the National Collegiate Honors Council annual meeting in Washington. Dr. Edgar reported on the feasibility and desirability of changing to an early semester system.
