dc.description.abstract Tom Shipka, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. Tom Shipka nominated Dr. Jane E. Kestner as the NCAA faculty representative. The College of Arts and Sciences gave an update. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported Tom Shipka was re-elected Chairperson, and Chet Cooper will be Vice-Chairperson, and Richard Walker, Christopher Bache and Eleanor Congdon were elected to the Charter and Bylaws Committee. Dr. Henneman made the motion on the establishment of a committee to investigate Board of Trustees policies regarding hiring of senior administrators or vice-presidents without a search. Dr. Noah Midamba, Interim Administrator, Center for International Studies and Programs, presented a report on the behalf of the Joint City of Youngstown/ Youngstown State University Sister City International Committee. Student Government reported on the possible outsourcing of the YSU Bookstore.
