dc.description.abstract	Chairperson of the Senate, Dr. Jean Kelty, presided. The Executive Committee moved to adopt a memorial resolution expressing appreciation and respect of the members of the Senate for Dr. Earl Edgar. Academic Affairs proposed a change in the name of the Material Science program and proposed acceptance of a Military Science course to fulfill credit for a Physical Education activity course. Curriculum Committee reported on courses changes, the Policy on Cross-Listing, and new Curriculum Proposal Forms. The Ad Hoc Committee on the Early Quarter System reported.
