dc.description.abstract	Chairman Larry Esterly presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported on appointments for vacancies. The Curriculum Committee reported on curriculum proposals. The Programs Division reported on the approval of a new Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. The Academic Standards and Events Committee reported on the minimum general requirements for the baccalaureate degree at YSU.A motion was carried that the "Long Range Facilities Development Plan, Final Report" not be considered a penultimate report since it advocated a major philosophical change in the use of academic space.
