dc.description.abstract	Larry Esterly presided. William Jenkins is approved to serve as parliamentarian and Virginia Phillips is approved to serve as secretary to the Senate. Recognition of Services of the past secretary, Cynthia Peterson was given. The Senate Executive Committee reported on committee appointment and the appointment of an Ad Hoc Committee on Unconditional Admission. Dr. George Beelen reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee. The Student Academic Affairs Committee reported on whether or not students should use tape recorders for class. Academic Standards and Events Committee gave in informational report.
