dc.description.abstract	Dr. Rost, chairman, presided. The Charter and Bylaws Committee discussed the question of whether or not the power to review courses meeting General University Requirements belonged to the University Curriculum Committee or to the Academic Standards Committee. The Senate Executive Committee reported on changes in the senate membership, preparation for the accreditation visit by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, and the dedication of Meshel Hall. The Academic Standards and Events Committee reported.
