dc.description.abstract	Dr. Rost, chairman, presided. A moment of silence is given in the memory of Dr. Carol Gay. Executive Senate reported on : the resignation from the Senate of Dr. L. Esterly and Student Senator, David Day; parliamentary procedures; and Dr. Ikram Khawaja reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee for the Chancellor. The Honors and I.C.P. Committee reported. The Library and Media Center Committee reported on the library acquisitions budget for 1986-1987. Unfinished business resumed discussion on the Central/General Area Requirements Proposals.
