dc.description.abstract Tom Shipka, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. The Senate Executive Committee discussed the Ohio Faculty Council, a statement by the Criminal Justice Department about the appointment of Joseph Serowik, and the issue of Domestic Partnerships. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported Tom Shipka was reelected as Senate Chair and Dr. Chet Copper as Vice-chair. Academic Programs Committee gave an informational report. The Academic Standards Committee moved to research and develop a proposal for conditional admission and made a motion to set the date for the last day to withdraw with a W to coincide with the Department of Education's 60 percent point in the term. The Undergraduate Curriculum Committee gave an informational report. New Business pertained to the Policy on Academic Minors.
