dc.description.abstract	Dr. Rost, Chairman, presided. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported on the election results for chairman (Rost was re-elected), the Charter and Bylaws Committee, and other positions in the Senate. The Senate Executive Committee reported and gave appreciation to the Bicentennial Committee. J. Philipp and V. Wan-Tatah have been appointed to the Task Force on Sexism in Communications. The Material Engineering program will be reviewed in Spring, 1989. Dr. Khawaja reported on the FAC meetings. Reports were given on two studies, The Library System Study and The Student Access and Success Study. Virginia Phillips is appointed Secretary to the Senate and Dr. William Jenkins is appointed Parliamentarian to the Senate. Dr. Gillis reported on the progress on the North Central Accreditation Report.
