Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of May 04, 1988

Abstract

Dr. Rost, Chairman, presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported that the process of appointing faculty to Senate committees and making nominations for Administrative committees is still in progress. The Programs Division members have discussed the Speech Course changes questioned at the last meeting and agree that the changes do not constitute a program change. Dr. Ikram Khawaha presented a report on the FAC meeting. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported that elections are underway for at-large and departmental Senators. The Academic Standards and Events Committee reported that an open hearing on the question of a grievance procedure will be held and a grade change for the course C.J. 799 was motioned. The Academic Programs and Curriculum Committee reported on the unresolved objection on Physics 503.
