dc.description.abstract	Dr. William Jenkins, Chair, presided. A moment of silence was given for the men and women of the U.S. armed forces. The Senate Executive Committee reported on the search process for a new president.The Acting Dean John Yemma replaces Vic Richely on the Academic Standards and Events and Library and Media Services Committees. Dr. Rost reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee to the Chancellor. The Academic Planning Committee reported on its work on the Strategic Planning Process. Academic Standards and Events Committee reported on the possibility of substituting a December commencement for the summer commencement. The Academic Programs Subcommittee reported on a program change in Home Economics.
