dc.description.abstract Jim Morrison, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. The meeting began with the resumption of business from the February 2 Senate meeting with the following motion: "that the Senate formally request that the University counsel research the individual liability that faculty will incur because we don't have the resources to advise appropriately for the fall semester." The Senate Executive Committee reported it will soon start the annual process of asking for volunteers to serve on standing committees of the Senate. The Ohio Faculty Council reported the chancellor is working with the governor on his Business and Industry Taskforce. The Academic Standards Committee discussed the number of hours to be required for minors as well as whether a student may have an ICP minor. The Committee also discussed the language concerning adoption of high school units and high school preparation. The Library Committee proposed a budget which was carried. The Academic Programs Committee reported the Q2S conversion of programs was complete with the exception of the Adolescent Licensure Program from the Department of Teacher Education. The Curriculum Committee reported it had completed all the quarter-to-semester curriculum reviews. The General Education Committee reported on the makeup and operation of the committee.
