dc.description.abstract Jim Morrison, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. The Senate Executive Committee announced Tom Shipka to propose language related to realignment of the Academic Grievance Subcommittee; Homer Warren filled a vacancy on the University Outreach Committee; and SEC is asking the Academic Programs Committee to think about program reviews. The Ohio Faculty Council made a report attached to the agenda. The General Education Committee announced the need for departments to complete the task of proposing intensive courses before the end of spring semester. The Library Committee reported on designating more of the library budget to OhioLINK cost. The Ad Hoc Ethics Committee summarized the committee's progress in drafting a code of ethics entitled "YSU Faculty and Administrative Code of Professional Conduct." The Strategic Planning Update was given. New business pertains distance education recommendations.
