dc.description.abstract	Dean Joseph Smith called the meeting to order. Colonel Bestor updates the faculty on the ROTC program. President Jones called for reports of the faculty committees. Two men were chosen for honorary degrees this year, Mr. White and Mr. Walter Bender. Mr. McLean was presented and asked to give a report on the progress of the urban development.
