dc.description.abstract | Dean Joseph Smith presided until President Jones arrived. The Student Association requested if the Senate would be willing to choose a "Student of the Month" from a list of students prepared by the Association. Dean Smith presented the problem of a three-way tie in the election results of the Standing Committee on the Constitution. President Jones discussed entrance requirements and requested that the Senate give suggestions and recommendations. The rest of the time was devoted to the discussion of the report made by the Committee on the Instructional Competence of Full-time and Part-time Instructors. | |
