Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the 53rd meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees. This was a regular meeting. Included are supporting exhibits. Highlights include: resolutions to ratify faculty/staff appointments, the offering of a BS in BA in Management, and an AAS in Respiratory Therapy. President Coffelt reported on the Governor’s executive budget for 1977-79, energy crises, the development of the operating budget for 1977-78, and current matters relating to fundraising for the planned sports complex. The retirements of Vice Presidents Karl E. Krill and Joseph S. Rook were announced. Executive and committee reports followed.
