Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the 58th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees. This was a regular meeting. Included are supporting exhibits. Highlights include: resolutions to ratify faculty/staff appointments, to use the University’s name in promoting alumni programs and activities, and to amend travel rules and regulations. President Coffelt reported on enrollment for Fall 1977, S.B. 40, financial aid awards, and legal actions involving the University (faculty union service fee and a sexual discrimination suit). Executive and committee reports followed.
