Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the 78th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees. This was a regular meeting. Included are supporting exhibits. Highlights included: resolutions to approve faculty/staff appointments, and to accept gifts to YSU, to raise faculty in academic rank. President Coffelt reported on pending state appropriations, Spring 1981 enrollment, the first Distinguished Citizen Award (to Harry Bolwell), and a special report on student concerns. Executive and committee reports followed.
