Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the 83rd meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees. This was a regular meeting. Included are supporting exhibits. Highlights included: resolutions ratifying faculty/staff appointments, to accept gifts to YSU, to amend the Board’s policy on broadcasting and cable television, to confer an honorary degree upon Brig. Gen. Robert G. Lynn, to adopt a policy for honoring faculty/staff, to amend the Board’s policy on leave without pay, to promote specific faculty to higher academic rank, and to name the new football field after Dwight V. “Dike” Beede.
