Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the 108th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees. This was a regular meeting. Included are supporting exhibits. Highlights included: resolutions to approve staff/faculty appointments, and to accept gifts to YSU. Presidential, executive, and committee reports followed. Further resolutions granted $200,000 to the library for book purchases; approved monetary transfers from the General Fee Fund to several University departments for compensation; authorized the purchase of computer equipment for Meshel Hall; released money to the English Festival fund, the Gina Tenney Scholarship Fund, the Dana Recording Project, and the CCM Free Clinic; created a Federal Student Aid Processing Account; amended the University’s Intercollegiate Athletics budget; passed an agreement on conflict resolution, created a task force to examine the construction of student housing on the Wick Oval; created a process to deal with student complaints of racial discrimination.
