Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the 158th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees. This was a regular meeting. Included are supporting exhibits. Highlights included: resolutions to approve staff/faculty appointments, to accept gifts to YSU. Presidential, executive, and committee reports followed. The Board further resolved: to appreciate Dr. Sally Hotchkiss and Dr. Lawrence Looby for their services to the University; to appreciate the YSU football team for being the first runner-up in the 1992 NCAA I-AA Division Championship; to change the title of the Director of Public Relations to that of Executive Director of University relations; to approve the vision of Campus 2000; to change priorities regarding the University’s physical facilities; to establish clerical positions in the Office of the President and the Department of Social Work; to confer honorary degrees upon Dr. George Ayers, Dr. Charles Ping, and Mr. Ray Travaglini; and to designate all YSU schools as Colleges.
