dc.description.abstract	Chairperson, Chet Cooper, presided. President David Sweet reported on the Annual Fund, Homecoming weekend, the dedication of Armed Forces Boulevard and the Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony. Provost Khawaja reported on the Centers of Excellence and the University College as an Urban Research University. The Senate Executive Committee reported on the selection of Ken Learnman as the Ohio Faculty Council representative. The General Education Committee reported on a list of approved General Education courses. The Integrated Technologies Committee selected Annette Burden as chair of the committee and discussed the implementation of Blackboard 9. New Business pertained to new circulation policies for Maag Library and Sherry Linkon reported from the Council on Teaching and Learning.
