dc.description.abstract	Senate Chairperson, Chet Cooper, presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported the Presidential search process was now in the hands of the Board of Trustees and Chet Cooper offered an Annual Fund challenge. The Charter and Bylaws Committee gave a brief report and will have recommendations later in the semester. The Academic Standards Committee passed two motions. One motion was in regards to the Add/Drop with a full refund deadlines and the other regarding multiple degrees and multiple majors. The General Education Committee moved that the intensive requirements (writing, speaking and critical-thinking) be removed from the general education program. Motion passed.The Library Committee reported on issues and changes with OhioLink. The Academic Research Committee reported it is working on a definition of Urban Research University.
