dc.description.abstract	Presented are the minutes of the 48th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees. This was a regular meeting. Included are agenda and supporting exhibits. Highlights include: resolutions on faculty/staff appointments, bylaws revisions, notice of meetings, revision of travel regulations, the offering of a BS in BA degree in Marketing Management, and public outreach. The dedication of the new library was announced, a university open house was planned, and a scholarship named for Al Shipka was funded. In addition, an $80,000 grant was awarded to fund scholarships at the graduate level, and a book endowment fund was created, name for Dr. and Mrs. F.F. Piercy. Executive and committee reports followed.	en_US
