The university advances the revitalization plan for the Wick Pollock Inn. A new funding policy will be based on student success, retention and graduation rather than enrollment figures. The Eastern Gateway Community College launch is assisted by a federal grant. COMM C.O.A.C.H (Charitable Organization Assisting Children and Hospitals) will host a movie night at Maag Library. YSU student, Scott Finamore, and long time friend, Sam Malaska, will bike from Youngstown to San Francisco to help raise money for the Akron Children's Hospital.
