dc.description.abstract At a recent Board of Trustee meeting, Sightlines, a facilities asset advisory firm, informed the Board that 85% of YSU's facilities are more than 25 years old and reaching the end of their useful cycle. The campus community voices concern over building conditions. Of bachelor's degrees awarded alst academic year, 46 program graduate zero. Obesity is a growing epidemic that affects more than 60 million people in the U.S., including two-thirds of college students. YSU student serve the community through volunteering with the Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative. YSU will host Safe Zone training. Marijean Benedik is appointed as the new director for Career and Counseling Services. YSU responds to BORs new funding formula based on retention. YSU partakes in Alcohol Awareness Week. Mark Klysner is the new men's tennis coach. Penguin Spotlight features Samantha Hamilton. The cross-country teams have a strong showing at the Bowling Green State University Invitational. en_US
