dc.description.abstract	Presented are the minutes of the 179th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees on September 13, 1996. This was a regular meeting. During the meeting, the oath of office was administered to newly-appointed student trustee, AnneMarie McCollum. President Cochran reported on the Tri-County Scholarship Awards Comparisons, and distributed a memorandum on “Institutional Goals.” Committee assignments were approved, and committee reports heard. Resolutions were made: to establish the YSU Metro College; to issue bonds to finance the expanding of loges in Stambaugh Stadium; to amend the University budget; to accept gifts; and to ratify faculty/staff appointments	en_US
