Abstract:
Presented are the minutes of the 184th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees on May 2, 1997. This was a special meeting. President Cochran reported on the Capital Campaign and his plans to attend a defense conference. Committee reports followed. The Board resolved to: extend appreciation for departing student trustee Nader G. Atway and departing trustee Edward A. Flask; to grant Youngstown the right of way to widen Fifth Avenue upon University property; to amend the General Fund budget; to set tuition, fees, and charges; and to pass the “Series 1997 Resolution.”
