Abstract

Presented are the minutes of the 168th meeting of the Youngstown State University Board of Trustees on September 16, 1994. This was a regular meeting. President Cochran reported on: the ABC (Adults Back to College) program, the affirmative action planning process, fall enrollment, a review of Board policies, university development, and the YSU-Butler Project Steering Committee. Committee reports followed. The Board resolved: to ensure compliance with regulations established in House Bill 790; to accept gifts; to approve the Five-Year Gender Equity Plan for Intercollegiate Athletics; to ratify faculty/staff appointments; to modify Board policies; and to approve an early retirement incentive program for participants in STRS.
