dc.description.abstract Student Government Association's appropriations budget will quadruple next year. TEDx Speaker Series features John Anthony, a music teacher at McDonald Local School District, and Ed Davis, an adjunct faculty member at YSU, about the importance of musical improvisation. A cafe is in the works for Bliss Hall. International Students celebrate the university's first International Education Week. President Jim Tressel and his wife Ellen committed $1 million to student employment funding. The 2014 film "Jamie Marks is Dead," based off YSU professor Chris Barzak's novel, "One for Sorrow," will make its Youngstown debut. Sports features Bo Pelini moving on to focus on the next game after being reprimanded by the Missouri Valley Football Conference for his behavior during the YSU v. North Dakota State last weekend.
