YSU's Disability Services headquarters has moved from the intersection of West Rayen Avenue and 5th Avenue to 36 West Wood Street. Six YSU STEM students are using 3-D printing technology to help a 12-year-old Collie, named Shelby, move around with a leg brace. Student Government Association and Chi Sigma Iota are bring awareness to mental health. Dionissi Aliprantis, research economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, spoke to YSU students as part of a PAYO (Poverty Awareness in Youngstown) event. The Kyrsten Elizabeth Studer Foundation holds a fundraiser, Kyrsten's Kloset, that challenges young women while providing them with prom dresses. The Project Learning Around the World is an organization that delivers schools supplies to schools in South Africa. The YSU art department featured an exhibition and lecture by Angie Zielinkski.
