dc.description.abstract Opoku Minta-Afari, an international graduate mathematics student at YSU, won first place in the LewerMark Scholarship contest. The City Club of Cleveland, an institution that has hosted discussions intended to help democracy thrive, comes to Youngstown. Kate Fitzgerald is appointed the new director of Housing and Residence Life at YSU.YSU"s Alpha Alpha Rho chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, an honors society for political science, won the organization's best local chapter award. Comedian W. Kamau Bell spoke to YSU students as part of the Centofanti Symposium. The Harry Potter Club held a Quidditch Event. Jambar's Top Ten is the longest working professors on campus. Stone Fruit Coffee will be setting up shop on 131 Lincoln Avenue behind Jimmy Johns. YSU Penguin Productions will host its third annual Penguin Nights with the theme, "Red, White and BOOM." YSU's Dance Club meets every Thursday. YSU Penguins prepare for their game against Robert Morris University. Intramurals offer students a competitive way to stay active. Mark Schuler of the YSU football team moves from tight end to punter. en_US
