Academic Senate Minutes of April 06, 2016

Abstract

Quorum was called by parliamentarian, Don O'Neill. Dr. Chet Cooper, Senate Chair, reported on the Senate Executive Committee and introduced the Student Government President and Vice President, who discussed the textbook affordability initiative. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported on nominations and the election process to be conducted through Blackboard. Academic Events Committee gave an oral report. Academic Research Committee reported on the CITI Training. The Academic Stand Committee reported on changes to the Dean's List standards. In New Business, Amy Cossentino reported on the success of the Honors College and Honors Students. The Programs review and eliminations of programs was also discussed.
