The Saudi Student Organization and the International Programs Office hosted YSU's first Saudi Arabian Cultural Event. Two former YSU students, Katie and Tom Phibbs, created Lettuce Do Good and sells hydroponic gardens. The Lake-to-River Food Cooperative opened a food market inside Cultivate: a co-op cafe on Elm Street one block north of YSU. John Feldmeier and Patrick Durren of the Astronomy and Physics departments discuss their research and accomplishments. New email guidelines have been put into place at YSU to refine and improve mass emails being sent to students, faculty and staff from the YSU Mass Email System. 27 International students applied for the Honor College this fall. Teachers weigh in on teaching the First Year Experience courses. The history of Pete the Penguin is given. Jazz performance student, Justin Randall, is featured. Mike Tysons former Youngstown mansion is being converted to a church. The County Mayo Irish band performed at Kravitz Delicatessen Inc. The 81st Annual Juried Student Art & Design Exhibition is held at the McDonough Museum of Art. YSU women's tennis season is midway through. Centerfielder Lorenzo Arcuir of the YSU baseball team is featured. The YSU men's tennis team will open up the Horizon League this weekend. |
