Out of 900 students surveyed, the most common issue reported was parking concerns on campus. Student homelessness is discussed. Bailee Wolanzyk, sophomore accounting and advertising major, plans to implement an anti-bullying program called Stand Up at a local school district. The YSU bass fishing club is featured. YSU's African Student Union hosted an event celebrating their African heritage, which featured several activities including: performances, dances, fashion and a catered meal. Paul Sracic, professor and chair of the department of politics and international relations, was selected for his second Fulbright award to spend the next year lecturing and teaching in Japan. In celebration of Woman's History Month, three YSU female professors gave a glimpse into their education and teaching histories. How people celebrate Easter is featured. YSU disc jockey, Charles "DJ Chip Banks" Colvin, played Friday through Sunday at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas. YSU men's golf team looks to shine after two lackluster performances. The YSU men's and women's tennis teams are coming on strong before the conference play.
