"The Defamation Experience," an interactive diversity play, was performed in the Chestnut Room in Kilcawley Center Oct. 16. The Purple Cat in Youngstown is building an overnight camp for adults with disabilities in Lowellville, Ohio. Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority raises thousands for Breast Cancer Awareness. The Nepali Student Association celebrated the Dashain Festival. The YSU's student chapter of the American Chemical Society is celebrating its 70th anniversary. The National Society of Black Engineers is making headway at YSU. Kississippi, an up-and-coming Philadelphia, Pa., emo crooner, made their Youngstown debut at Suzie's Dogs & Drafts. "Out of Rushmore's Shadow" by Lou Del Bianco was performed in Debartolo Hall at YSU on October 19. The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County's Literacy Society present Lisa Garner, a number one New York Times best-selling crime thriller novelist. The YSU men's golf team ends its fall season. YSU football aims to have a strong performance against the Indiana State University Sycamores at home this week.
