dc.description.abstract Lack of raises for adjunct faculty is discussed. The Diocese of Youngstown released the names of clergy who were removed over credible sexual misconduct allegations. The Communications Department at YSU stated the possibility of decreasing classes from five days to four days a week. Dr. Jacob Labendz led a discussion on bigotry and racism in light of the synagogue shootings in Pittsburgh. 500 students attended the YSU Penguin Preview Day.Native American Heritage Month is celebrated. The Sisterhood Uprising-Flexing Our Power rally took place November 3. Lauren Goshinski, an audio and visual curator and creative director, provided a free and open-to-the-public lecture at the McDonough Museum Lecture Hall. Kathleen Howell, senior vocal performance major at YSU, performed her senior recital. Student Government is looking for ways to promote Blackboard Education among faculty who may not use it. Men's basketball team looks to change culture with a good start. The men's cross country team won their second Horizon League Championship. YSU women's basketball team is excited for their first game. YSU's swimming and diving team is enjoying the redevelopment natatorium in Beeghly Center. en_US
