dc.description.abstract Vice-President Edgar designated a committee on "Free University" classes. The interim policy concerning grade changes was discussed and the committee studying this policy was attempting to devise a means to separate administrative penalties from academic grades. Dr. Foster brought up the subject of summer school 1972. He also suggested that the change of registration procedure needed revision so that changes could not be made as indiscriminately as they are now. The 1971 summer indicated an increase in graduate and decrease in undergraduate students. Dr. Foster forecasts the same for 1972. Dr. Edgar called attention to his memo of July 20 concerning campus action team to participate in national project and suggested that each school review its own mission. Vice-President Edgar requested each Dean to set forth a plan of study for overall University objective and each school objective. en_US
