dc.description.abstract Dr. Edgar passed out Dean Scrivan's material pertaining to school, degree, and major. Dr. Edgar distributed the report from Mrs. Smith about honors for transfer students. Dr. Edgar distributed the memorandum from Tom Martindale which consisted of an apology and the procedure for handling applications for graduation. Dean Scriven raised the question about the wording in the catalogue on grade point average of students applying for graduation. Distributed was Mr. Tufts material concerning the conference course request form and the extra hour credit application. The final examination schedule for Winter Quarter was discussed. Discussion pertaining to suspension was delayed until the next meeting as well as the matter of proficiency examinations. The subject of freshman orientation during the summer was discussed. Dr. Edgar pointed out that Dean Scriven had reported to him on the increasing use of waivers in qualifying students for graduation. en_US
