Academic Deans Council Minutes : January 16, 1973

Abstract

The schedule for class time periods for Summer Session--1973 on a ten-week basis as formulated by Deans Miller and Yozwiak was presented. Summer budgets and schedules were discussed. The current collective bargaining situation was presented. The possibility of a contractual basis of three of the four academic quarters as the regular contract was discussed. A memorandum from Dean Paraska concerning the status of Department chairmen in the University organization was distributed for future discussion. Dean Miller questioned the present method of payment of graduation fees.
