Abstract: Youngstown was bursting with energy as community members and local politicians gathered in front of the Youngstown Business Incubator to witness Democratic Congressman Tim Ryan kick off his 2020 presidential campaign with a rally. YSU recently introduced student social media ambassadors, aiming to tell the stories of the university through social media by a variety of students with different backgrounds and majors. Quest celebrates 30 years on campus. A cat journeyed 1100 miles from home. Being a women is expensive. Many LGBTQ people who practice faith are challenging old tradition and expressing how their religion aims to be more inclusive. Five historical campus mysteries are given. Tyler Calpin, a senior photography major at Point at Park University, features Youngstown's steel industrial history as a his senior thesis. On April 4, jazz singer and pianist from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio Kate Reid conducted a master class and engaged with YSU students. The Youngstown Creative Collective is featured. Inner Circle Pizza now offers open mic nights. The YSU baseball team is showing signs of a turnaround after two wins in its last four games. The YSU women's golf team will host a tournament in the Valley for the first time this season. The YSU men's golf team finished first out of seventeen at the Towson Spring Invitational in Grasonville, Maryland. The YSU track and field team hosted part of the Northeast Ohio Quad at Farmers National Bank Field.
