dc.description.abstract | Dr. Gillis mentioned that the selling of Summer assignments is illegal. Dr. Gillis reviewed the subject of representation of the University. Dr. Gillis opened up the discussion on coordination of dates for lectures, colloquia and symposia. Dr. Gillis cited the new policy on computer equipment and referred to the information on Summer Schedule approvals. A general discussion was held on marketing the financial aid available. The motion regarding an amplification of transcript revision was approved. Dr. Yozwiak presented some changes in the "F to W" petition. A motion was passed that following the last day for withdrawal, the student if he/she desires could pick up the F to W petition at the appropriate Dean's office. A Summer Registration Calendar was submitted. The Academic Master Plan was discussed. Dr. Gillis forewarned the Deans' Council about the changes in the Honors Convocation. Changes in Math 500 and 501 were announced. A motion was passed that the language changes for Credit/No Credit accompanying the Math proposals be recommended and forwarded to the appropriate Senate committee. | en_US |
