Scriven gave a report on the status of student on-line records. The application forms for the Deans Scholarship was to be sent to Livosky for distribution. Scriven indicated that at late registration this fall, the fall and winter schedule would be distributed. The Provost invited comments to be sent to him concerning Administrative Changes in Registration and Faculty Mentors. Commenting on Sutton's memo concerning the undesirability of adding new sections after regular registration, Yozwiak noted that the English Department would add about 20% more sections than projected. Gillis reported on the matters he would bring to the attention of the Academic Affairs Committee of the Board. The bargaining elections was nearing completion for the Professional/Administrative Staff with elections to be held October 22. All forms for Non-Teaching Assignments were due to the Provost. Gillis suggested the deans review the limited service allocation that he prepared. Discussion ensued over the issue of travel for professional development of the new Agreement. Dean Lyons reported on the difficulties of getting an adequate response from the Office of Facilities on inquires and request for improvements. Mapley made comments on the proposal for reporting EPT results, listing all departments alphabetically, and modification of dates regarding registration. |
